DAPA and Expanded DACA Programs Temporarily On Hold

A U.S. federal judge has temporarily blocked the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and expanded Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs. For now, these programs are on hold until further notice. The Department of Justice plans to appeal the decision, according to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh C. Johnson.

Ultimately, we believe the programs will go forward so if you believe you qualify, seek legal counsel and continue to gather necessary proof to apply.

Also, keep in mind that the 2012 DACA program is not affected by the court order. Qualified applicants for this program can continue to apply for initial approval or renewals.
