Consular Services Suspended in Pakistan

On September 24, 2008, the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan announced that effective September 25, 2008, all consular services at the U.S. Embassy and consulates in Pakistan will be temporarily suspended. All interviews will be rescheduled. While emergency services for U.S. Citizens are still available, it is unclear when regular consular processing for visas to the United States will resume.
